Abwenzi Frivillig Forening in partnership with Genbrug Til Syd collected donated computers from a Computergruppen from Holbæk in preparations for shipping a container to Zambia. We would like to thank Genbrug Til Syd, Computergruppen of Holbæk municipality, Jørgen Hesselbjerg of Malling in Aarhus municipality, and all the other Donors for the contribution and help rendered in aid this project.
We also thank Jeep Veenhower of Jeep Plastic ApS of Søndersø for assisting with transporting the computers from Holbæk to Malling warehousing and for his contribution to the organization.
Among the items for shipment are computers for the schools, school furniture, electric clinical beds, and bicycles to traditional birth attendants in Zambia.
Abwenzi Frivillig Forening took it upon themselves to organize a few bicycles from well-wishers and friends, as the renovation warehouses did not have bicycles in stock to donate. Abwenzi´s social media platform Facebook and Instagram.
Further Thanks to Marianne Gjervig Schmidt and her family for donating some school furniture, Marcela and her family for donating the two bicycles. The container will finally be packaged and shipped to Eastern Province, Zambia, Africa in mid-March of 2022.
