Abwenzi Frivillig Forening sigter mod at styrke disse kvinder til at v\u00e6re mere selvhjulpne. Ved at arrangere workshops for at tr\u00e6ne dem i b\u00e6redygtige og langvarige indkomstgenererende aktiviteter s\u00e5som syning, bagning og afgr\u00f8dediversificering fra den s\u00e6dvanlige afgr\u00f8de majs, der er blevet negativt p\u00e5virket p\u00e5 grund af klima\u00e6ndringer.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Desv\u00e6rre bruger disse kvinder h\u00f8 til at dyrke jorden. Med h\u00f8 er de ikke i stand til at g\u00f8re meget. Normalt dyrker de majs til forbrug, men de har brug for at producere mere, s\u00e5 de kan \u00f8ge deres produktion for at skaffe penge til at sende deres b\u00f8rn i skole, da skoler og l\u00e6gemidler er dyre.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Som Abwenzi Frivillig Forening mener vi, at det bedste v\u00e6rkt\u00f8j til udvikling er effektiv empowerment af kvinder. Vi appellerer til velvillige om at komme om bord med Abwenzi Frivillig Forening for at styrke disse kvinder, s\u00e5 de kan \u00f8ge deres produktivitet og ogs\u00e5 for at blive bemyndiget \u00f8konomisk.
