\u00a0Abwenzi Women Association (AWA), en samfundsbaseret organisation (CBO), har v\u00e6ret en drivende kraft i Zambia siden dens oprettelse i 2005.\u00a0 AWA fungerer som en non-profit og ikke-partipolitisk enhed. Organisationens mission er at skabe b\u00e6redygtige levebr\u00f8d ved at fremme selvudvikling, fortaler for menneskerettigheder og gennemf\u00f8re bevidstg\u00f8relseskampagner om sundhed, uddannelse og landbrug i Zambias mest s\u00e5rbare samfund.<\/span><\/p>

AWA opererer prim\u00e6rt i de t\u00e6tte byomr\u00e5der i Lusaka og landdistrikterne i den \u00f8stlige provins, hvor fattigdom og analfabetisme er udbredt. International k\u00f8nsbevidsthed og fremme af rettigheder<\/b><\/h3>

AWA har deltaget i forskellige internationale initiativer, der har til form\u00e5l at fremme ligestilling og kvinders rettigheder. Et s\u00e5dant projekt var organiseret af KEPA-Zambia, hvor AWA deltog i k\u00f8nsbevidsthedsworkshops og kvinderettighedskampagner. Disse bestr\u00e6belser har forbedret AWAs kapacitet til at g\u00e5 ind for ligestilling mellem k\u00f8nnene og menneskerettigheder p\u00e5 lokalt niveau.<\/span><\/p>

Desuden samarbejdede KEPA-Zambia med AWA i ungdomsudvekslingsprogrammer, der omfattede Finland og Sverige. Som en del af denne udveksling var AWA v\u00e6rt for seks internationale frivillige, som blev i tre m\u00e5neder, hvilket gav en unik mulighed for kulturel udveksling og f\u00e6lles l\u00e6ring. Disse samarbejder har udvidet AWAs netv\u00e6rk, hvilket giver organisationen mulighed for at forbinde med globale partnere og bringe ny indsigt til sine projekter.<\/span><\/p>

Andre internationale samarbejder<\/b><\/h3>

I \u00e5renes l\u00f8b har AWA arbejdet med flere internationale organisationer p\u00e5 projekter, der gavner for\u00e6ldrel\u00f8se b\u00f8rn, s\u00e5rbare b\u00f8rn (OVC'er) og marginaliserede samfund. N\u00f8glepartnerskaber omfatter:<\/span><\/p>

  • World Vision International: Leverede materiel st\u00f8tte til for\u00e6ldrel\u00f8se b\u00f8rn og udsatte b\u00f8rn.<\/span><\/li>
  • World Food Programme (WFP): Underst\u00f8ttede mad-til-uddannelse-programmer for OVC'er.<\/span><\/li>
  • International Drug Enforcement Agency: \u00d8get bevidsthed om stofmisbrug blandt unge.<\/span><\/li>
  • AfriCare Rapids: Assisterede i ungdomsindkomstskabende aktiviteter.<\/span><\/li>
  • Genbrug Til Syd (GTS-Danmark): Leveret materialest\u00f8tte til skoler, klinikker og samfundsd\u00e6kkende projekter rettet mod unge.<\/span><\/li><\/ul>

    Forbedring af AWAs kapacitet gennem internationale projekter<\/b><\/h3>

    Partnerskabet mellem AWA og AFF er bygget p\u00e5 et unikt grundlag, da nogle af de stiftende medlemmer af AWA i Zambia ogs\u00e5 spillede en central rolle i etableringen af \u200b\u200bAFF i Danmark. Dette gensidige samarbejde har fremmet en dybt rodf\u00e6stet forst\u00e5else og f\u00e6lles vision mellem de to organisationer, hvilket sikrer overensstemmelse i m\u00e5l og v\u00e6rdier. Denne forbindelse muligg\u00f8r en problemfri udveksling af ressourcer, viden og st\u00f8tte, hvilket styrker deres f\u00e6lles indsats for at styrke kvinder og unge i Zambia.<\/p>

    Partnerskabet forventes at tilf\u00f8re AWA enorm v\u00e6rdi ved at forbedre dets projektledelsesevner, udvide dets netv\u00e6rk og \u00f8ge dets synlighed b\u00e5de lokalt og internationalt. Succesfuld styring af internationale projekter vil \u00f8ge AWAs trov\u00e6rdighed og \u00e5bne d\u00f8re for nye finansieringsmuligheder og samarbejder.<\/p>

    Gennem dette samarbejde vil AWA forbedre sin evne til at implementere effektive projekter, engagere sig med interessenter og levere b\u00e6redygtig indvirkning til sine lokalsamfund.     AWAs vej frem: l\u00e6ring og v\u00e6kst<\/b><\/h3>

    Som CBO l\u00e6rer og udvikler AWA hele tiden. Dette vil give AWA mulighed for at udvide sin r\u00e6kkevidde, tiltr\u00e6kke flere modtagere og forst\u00e6rke dets indvirkning p\u00e5 lokale og internationale samfund. <\/span>Det mange\u00e5rige partnerskab mellem AWA og FUN-AFF, som g\u00e5r tilbage til 2019, vil fortsat fungere som hj\u00f8rnestenen for denne transformation.
